Yuen Long District (YLDIST) held two basketball friendly matches and tea receptions with students from SKH Bishop Baker Secondary School and Yuen Long Catholic Secondary School in November under Project SUNSHINE. The events received positive feedback and benefited the Force and the youth in a reciprocal way.

The project is launched by YLDIST in a bid to garner support from and promote a healthy lifestyle of the youth. Police Community Relations Officers have been establishing a closer connection with local secondary students through different sports activities. YLDIST will continue to organise similar activities to cultivate youngsters' interest in police work.
