A group of 34 woman officers from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao attended the 17th Tripartite Woman Police Officers' Meeting in Guangzhou from November 29 to December 1 to discuss the subject of "Drug Prevention, Education and Enforcement".

The Hong Kong delegation was led by Deputy Commissioner (Management) of the Force Chiu Wai-yin whilst the Guangdong and Macao delegations were headed respectively by Deputy Mayor of Yunfu cum Director of Yunfu Public Security Bureau Ms Chen Xiaojian and Adviser to Office of the Secretary for Security of Macao Ms Ng Sou-peng.

The tripartite woman police officers discussed ways to effectively combat drug abuse and step up drug prevention and education, as well as explored publicity avenues to enhance the youth's understanding of the scourge of drugs. The delegates cherished the sharing opportunity as well as their cordial partnership. The next round of the meeting will be held in Macao later this year.
