A five-member delegation from the Force Search Unit (FSU) visited Guangzhou from December 6 to 8, 2017, to exchange views with officers from Guangdong Provincial Security Bureau (GDPSB) in conducting large-scale security operations.

The delegation comprised Senior Inspector Li Yui-ming, Sergeants Chu Wai-kin and Wong Hoi-wai, Police Constables Ho Kin-pong and Lo Wai-yin. They paid a site visit to the venue for Fortune Global Forum 2017, which had drawn the participation of many state leaders. There the delegates met GDPSB representatives to learn about their experience in preparing for the Forum and their security screening measures. Then they called on the Command and Control Centre to share their views with the security personnel. Afterwards, they had an on-site observation of the enhanced security screening measures along the Guangzhou Metro System.

The visit gave the delegation an insight of the venue security measures in major operations and the good practices of GDPSB.
