Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin, Director of Personnel & Training Li Kin-fai and Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Siu Chak-yee renewed acquaintance and friendship with about 660 members of the Hong Kong Police Old Comrades' Association and the Hong Kong Marine Police Retirees' Association at reunion luncheons on January 17 and 29 respectively at the Police Sports and Recreation Club.

The luncheons were initiated by the Force Management with the staunch support of the chairmen and executive committee members of the two retirees' associations, and were fully subsidised by the Police Welfare Fund. The participants of the luncheons included some retirees aged over 90 and newly retired comrades.

Ms Chiu thanked the executive members of the two retirees' associations for organising many healthy and recreational activities, which had enriched the life of the retired comrades and provided a platform for them to keep in touch. She also appreciated their efforts to show care and concern to the senior members regularly.
