The Road Safety Team of Traffic New Territories North (RST T NTN) briefed over 50 drivers and employees on the importance of road safety, traffic accident casualty figures and its causation factors at a factory in Yuen Long Industrial Estate on January 18. This was one of the road safety seminars held for professional drivers of the private sector.

The attendees were reminded of the things to take heed of when driving or crossing roads, such as attentive driving, paying attention to pedestrians’ safety, refraining from using mobile phones while crossing roads, crossing roads attentively and safe cycling.

RST T NTN shared the road safety messages with agency groups in order to raise drivers’ awareness of proper driving manner as well as paying attention to the safety of other road users. This approach gained wide support from a number of private companies as the attendees benefited a lot in the seminars.
