With a view to preparing frontline officers to perform duties for the upcoming Legislative Council (LegCo) By-election, the Support Wing conducted a briefing for over 200 frontline officers at the Police Headquarters on February 21.

Guest speakers from the Registration and Electoral Office explained the general polling arrangements for the By-election on March 11, and also talked about offences relating to election. This enabled the officers to get a better understanding of the role of the Police in the By-election and to handle election-related incidents professionally.
