The Police College arranged for Senior Inspector Lung Wing-cheung to take part in the 45th Asia Regional Law Enforcement Management Program in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from January 21 to 31. The program was co-organised by the Australian Federal Police and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology for 22 middle to high rank female police officers from Asia, Australia and the Netherlands.

With a theme of "Women in Police Leadership", the program covered the role of women in policing, leadership and management, integrity management, international crime investigation, combating cyber crime, curbing money laundering and human trafficking, and a range of contemporary issues. The training was conducted by female police leaders and experienced professionals from different countries. Ms Lung took the opportunity to exchange views with her counterparts about the challenges of law enforcement.
