A proprietor of a restaurant, Mr Wong, presented tapestry flags to Tai Po District (TPDIST) Commander David Jordan, Chief Inspector (Crime) Kwong Yim-chun and Inspector Leung Cheuk-hei of TPDIST and officers of District Anti-triad Squad 2 (DATS 2) on December 27, 2017.

At midnight on April 22, a man threw two bottles of burning thinner at the restaurant in Sheung Shui. The fire was quickly put out by passers-by and only a potted plant was damaged. Inspector Leung Cheuk-hei led DATS 2 to conduct an in-depth investigation and arrested the culprit later in the day. The culprit was convicted of arson and was sentenced to imprisonment for three and a half years.
