A delegation of Tango Company attended a leadership training programme run by the International Law Enforcement Academy in Bangkok, Thailand, from February 12 to 16. Led by Second-in-charge of the Company Wong Yuet-chi, the delegation comprised four Tango officers.

Forty-one female officers from 11 Asian countries attended the training. All of them were mid- or high-ranking law enforcement officers. The programme was built on the theme of "Leadership for Women in Law Enforcement", and covered "DISC leadership model", emotional intelligence, universal practices of leaders and motivators. A range of activities, such as a test for leadership style, self-reflection, scenario-based learning activities, presentations and group discussions, were held to hone the participants' leadership skills.

The course enabled the Tango delegates to gain insight into the challenges faced by their Asian counterparts.
