Representatives of a retail company awarded tapestry flags to officers of Mong Kok District (MKDIST), including District Commander Kerry Carew, Assistant District Commander (Crime) Chung Chi-ming and officers of District Crime Squad 2 and District Intelligence Section on March 1 in recognition of their efforts in detecting a robbery case.

A convenience store in Tai Kok Tsui was robbed of over $3,000 by knife-wielding culprits in the small hours of January 14. After investigation and analysis by District Crime Squad 2 and District Intelligence Section of MKDIST, the officers believed that the robbers were also related to another robbery case, which happened at a convenience store in Hung Hom in the small hours of January 22. The officers targeted two suspects, who were subsequently arrested and charged.
