The Police Community Relations Office of Shatin District (STDIST) took part in a number of school activities between January and March to enhance communication with youngsters and foster ties with the community. Officers engaged over 1 000 students, teachers and parents through the activities.

Apart from arranging a visit for the Salvation Army Tin Ka Ping Primary School to a police station, the officers joined a High Table dinner hosted by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Career Expo of the Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School, a friendly basketball competition with students from Pok Oi Hospital Chan Kai Memorial College, and supported a funfair of the ESF Wu Kai Sha International Kindergarten.
