Assistant Director of the International Operations Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Mr George Piro led a two-member delegation to pay a courtesy call on Director of Crime and Security (D C&S) Li Chi-hang on March 16.

Mr Li and Mr Piro discussed a wide range of policing issues, including the overall crime trends of the two places, strategies for combating terrorism and cross-boundary crimes, and direction for co-operation. Both sides looked forward to continued partnership with the aim of maintaining a stable law and order situation in Hong Kong and the United States.

Mr Piro assumed the post on October 18, 2017. He took this opportunity to enhance his understanding of the work of and challenges encountered by the Hong Kong Police Force. Mr Li expressed his gratitude for the long-standing support of the FBI.
