The Police College arranged Senior Inspector Chung Ting-sum to attend a course on Leadership for Law Enforcement Supervisors, organised by the International Law Enforcement Academy in Bangkok, Thailand, from March 12 to 16.

With the participation of 37 law enforcement officers from Asian countries and regions, including Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Timor-Leste, Myanmar and Hong Kong, the course aimed to establish multilateral co-operation and enhance leadership skills of the participants.

The course focused on human behavioural assessment and communication, conflict management and leadership in crisis management. It offered a platform for the participants to share experience, challenges and corporation strategies through lectures, group discussions and case studies.

Mr Chung said that the course had broadened his horizons, enriched his professional knowledge, and gave him an opportunity to build network with overseas counterparts.
