Sai Kung District Councillor Ms Fong Kwok-shan, together with some members of the public, presented pennants and appreciation letters to Tseung Kwan O District (TKODIST) Commander Siu Kit-hung, Deputy District Commander Paul Renouf, Assistant District Commander (Operations) Wong Ho-hon, Chief Inspector (Investigation) Fung Pui-kei and officers of District Investigation Team (DIT) 6, Task Force Sub-Unit (TFSU) and Police Community Relations Office (PCRO) on January 8 in recognition of their professionalism and contribution in combating crime.

In mid-July last year, a laundry at a housing estate in TKODIST closed down and some members of the public were not able to take back their clothes. DIT 6 officers made efforts to contact the shopowner and retrieved most of the clothes. Besides, a case of "indecency in public" occurred in the estate last November. TFSU officers promptly arrested the suspect and instituted a prosecution. Meanwhile, Ms Fong praised PCRO for its contribution in promoting communication with the public and fostering community harmony.
