The Emergency Unit of New Territories South (EU NTS) conducted Exercise "COSMORIDE" on April 27. This was the first of a series of emergency exercises to enhance officers' ability to deal with serious public disorder and riot situations.

In response to a simulated incident in New Territories North (NTN) Region, a platoon on patrol was quickly reformed and deployed to support NTN to handle the incident. The exercise aimed to test the effectiveness of team reorganisation, tactics to deal with public disorder, and new tactical suits. It provided a good opportunity for officers to hone their operational efficiency and tactical skills.
