The NTS CID Night 2018 cum Best DIT Award Presentation Ceremony took place at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on May 4. The event was held to recognise the contribution of crime units and boost the spirit of frontline crime investigators, with over 360 crime officers from New Territories South (NTS) Region in attendance.

Regional Commander of NTS Patrick Laidler presented the Best DIT Award to the winner, District Investigation Team 5 (DIT 5) of Kwai Tsing District. Meanwhile, the best DITs from each of the other four Districts in NTS, namely DIT 7 of Shatin District, DIT 1 of Airport District, DIT 1 of Tsuen Wan District and DIT 4 of Lantau District, also received appreciation for their remarkable performance.
