Deputy Commissioner (Management) (DCP MAN) Chiu Wai-yin delivered a talk on "Committed Staff, Professional Service" on the invitation of the Hospital Authority (HA) at its Convention 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 7.

Over 300 medical and healthcare professionals, including staff of HA as well as healthcare managers and executives from Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas, attended the talk. Ms Chiu shared with them the Force's people-based Human Resource Management (HRM) Strategy in developing professional and committed staff to meet the rising challenges and public expectations.

The Convention focused on HA's core values, namely People-centred Care, Professional Service, Teamwork and Committed Staff. It provided an opportunity for the Force to communicate with other professionals with shared values.
