Crime New Territories North (NTN) Headquarters conducted an Informer Handling Workshop on May 16 with the objective of honing the skills of frontline officers in handling non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) informers. About 70 crime officers attended the workshop.

Nepalese representatives of the International Social Service Hong Kong Branch and two NEC officers were invited to share their customs, culture and religious background. The workshop increased the participants' understanding of the NEC so as to enhance their intelligence gathering capabilities.
