The final match of the MacDonald Cup Inter-Major Formation Basketball Tournament took place at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on June 5, with Kowloon West (KW) Region winning the championship. Marine Region clinched the first runner-up while New Territories North Region secured the second runner-up. Police Constable Wong Yui-kan of KW was selected as the Most Valuable Player by chief coaches of the top four teams.

Meanwhile, in the Leslie-Luscombe Cup Inter-Formation Basketball Tournament held earlier, Airport District (APTDIST) was crowned champion. The first and second runners-up went to Wong Tai Sin District and Yuen Long District respectively.

At the prize presentation ceremony held right after the final match of the MacDonald Cup, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin presented trophies to the winning teams and encouraged the players to keep up their efforts and scale new heights.
