The Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) invited Director of Broadcasting Mr Leung Ka-wing to give a sharing on "Correct Cantonese Pronunciation" for 25 officers on May 26. The event aimed at enhancing frontline officers' public speaking skills with a view to projecting a professional image of the Force.

Also speaking at the event, Director of Operations Tang Ping-keung expressed gratitude to Mr Leung for his sharing. Mr Tang emphasised that the Force has been facing increasing expectations from the community and the media to increase its transparency and respect the media's right of reporting. The Force would continue to disseminate timely information through different platforms, including press conferences and stand-up briefings. He hoped that the sharing would help enhance the participants' capabilities and confidence in giving media interviews.

The participants responded that the sharing has increased their knowledge on public speaking and honed their spokesperson skills.
