The Police Negotiation Cadre (PNC) was invited to share crisis negotiation skills in a quarterly seminar of the Correctional Services Department (CSD) on June 1.

Officer-in-charge of the Research and Development Section of PNC Li Kwai-Wah led members of PNC Team One, namely Chan Chi-wai, Ku Yuen, Lam Sze-yam and Wong Wai-man, to share their experience in crisis management and negotiation. About 180 officers from the Rehabilitation Division of CSD attended the seminar.

Apart from presentation and discussion, the CSD officers joined crisis simulation exercises relating to their day-to-day work. Afterwards, PNC members gave feedback to enable the participants to master the basic skills in crisis negotiation.
