The Commercial Crime Bureau (CCB) conducted a Counterfeit Passport Investigation Course in conjunction with the German Federal Police for about 30 local officers on June 22. The course aimed to enhance the participants' capability in investigating fake passports and fostering intelligence exchanges.

Advisor (East Asia) of the German Federal Police Mr Thorsten Schleuning and two document and visa advisors talked about the methods of identifying counterfeit travel documents, highlighting the importance of multilateral collaboration among law enforcement agencies in different jurisdictions.

The course better equipped the participants with skills for investigating counterfeit travel documents to meet the challenges of globalisation.
