The Regional Crime Prevention Office of Kowloon East (RCPO KE) organised crime prevention seminars in partnership with the Hong Kong Taekwondo Association for about 200 Taekwondo coaches from March to June.

RCPO KE adopted the train-the-trainer approach to enhance the coaches' fight crime knowledge for disseminating crime prevention messages to their young trainees. Officers briefed the coaches on the most prevalent youth crimes, such as telephone deception, romance scam and naked chat scam. Anti-telephone deception souvenirs were distributed to the coaches to enhance their anti-crime awareness. The coaches were reminded to pass the fight crime messages to their Taekwondo trainees.
