At the invitation of Kwun Tong Madrasa Chief Imam Qari Muhammad Awais, Sau Mau Ping District (SMPDIST) Commander Wong Kwong-hing, Divisional Commander of Sau Mau Ping Division (SMPDIV) Neil Burnett, Police Community Relations Officer of SMPDIST Tuan Ngar-lun and Commander of Patrol Sub-Unit (2) of SMPDIV Chu Yuen-tim attended the Eid-Ul-Fiter prayer meeting at Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo) on June 15.

Qari Muhammad Awais welcomed the guests to the meeting with about 600 Muslims. He commended the Force for its efforts in crime prevention as well as its initiatives to facililate communicantion and develop trust with the non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community.

Also speaking at the meeting, Wong Kwong-hing thanked the NEC for their co-operation with the Force in crime prevention and crime fighting. He encouraged the NEC, in particular youngsters, to participate in "Project Harmonious Pyramid", and expressed appreciation towards Imam Qari Muhammad Awais, Dr Rizwan Ullah and Mr Ramesh Virani for serving as Honorary Advisors of the project. Last but not least, Mr Wong felt honoured to be invited to the meeting, which helped to promote racial harmony.
