Vice Chairman of Tai Po District Council Ms Wong Pik-kiu; four Tai Po District Councillors, namely Messrs Chan Siu-kuen, Woo Kin-man, Au Chun-wah and Tam Wing-fun; two members of Tai Po District Fight Crime Committee, Messrs Lam Chuen and Mui Siu-fung; and several crime victims presented pennants to officers of Tai Po District (TPDIST) on July 6.

They praised the officers for their professionalism and outstanding performance in detecting a number of crime cases, including "blackmail", "burglary" and "assault occasioning actual bodily harm". Led by TPDIST Commander Lee Kwok-chung and Deputy Commander Ngan Yuen-yee, the officers received the commendation.
