Eleven volunteers from the Police Volleyball Club (PVC) recently took part in the Active School Programme 2017-2018. With the support of the Education Bureau and the Home Affairs Bureau, the programme was run by the Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association to instill positive energy into students through sports training.

The PVC volunteers gave quality sports training to nearly 100 primary school students for four days in May. This enhanced communication between the police volunteers and the students. Chairperson of the Club Ms Kwan Chui-ching thanked the volunteers for fostering closer ties between the Police and schools, enhancing the students' volleyball skills and encouraging them to develop sports habits at an early age.
