The Force was awarded a certificate of the "Top 10 Highest Participation Rate in 2017" under the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certification Scheme at an award presentation ceremony held by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) on June 13. Twenty one Force premises were given an "excellent" or "good" IAQ rating. The awards recognised the Force's commitment in providing a healthy working environment for its staff.

Senior Superintendent Lee Chung-wah and Superintendent Wong Wai-yin of the Police College represented the Force to receive the certificates from Deputy Director of Environmental Protection Mrs Alice Cheung and Assistant Director (Air Policy) of Environmental Protection Mr Ho Tak-yin.
