Yau Tsim Mong District Councillor Mr Chong Kong-mo, Chairman of Hoi Wang Community Service Association Mr Hui Sai-cheong and Senior Police Call members presented pennants to officers of Mong Kok District (MKDIST) on June 28 in appreciation of their professionalism and outstanding performance in combating drug trafficking. Receiving the pennants were MKDIST Commander Kerry Carew, Police Community Relations Officer Wan Hiu-ting and officers of Special Duty Squad 3. They were praised for working with stakeholders and fight crime partners, thereby putting down the disturbance caused by drug addicts to residents.

MKDIST responded proactively to the requests of District Councillors and residents, and raided drug trafficking black spots in 2017. A number of operations were mounted with over 30 suspects arrested of drug related offences.
