Following a series of hotly contested matches over the past two months, the Force Ladies' Basketball Team clinched the championship in 2018 Hong Kong Basketball League Grade B Tournament and will be advanced to Grade A to compete with other local top-notch teams next year.

Chairman of the Police Basketball Club Mr Tse Kwok-wai commended the team for their tremendous determination and impeccable team spirit displayed throughout the games. He said that the advancement to the A-League was a significant milestone achieved by the team over the past 22 years. He encouraged the players to keep up their spirit and get prepared for upcoming competitions. The team will join the 3-on-3 basketball competition in the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Police and Security Forces Sports Exchange" to be held in Foshan in September.
