The Police Hockey Club and Sham Shui Po Junior Police Call has jointly organised an indoor hockey youth tournament at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC) this summer.

Apart from promoting hockey and sportsmanship, the contest also aimed at enhancing social integration by encouraging local and non-ethnic Chinese youths to participate in the exciting games. The event has also received overwhelming support from a number of schools under Project Legacy.

Following a training session in early July, eight boys' teams and three girls' teams have been competing in qualifying games every Tuesday between 6 pm and 8 pm from July 17 to August. The finals of the contest and the prize presentation will be held at PSRC from 2 pm to 5 pm on September 2. Officers and family members are welcome to attend the event to cheer on the young players.
