A four-member delegation from the Force Search Unit (FSU) went to Guangzhou on August 21 and 22 to share with officers from the VIP Protection Bureau of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department their experience in conducting large-scale security operations.

The delegation, comprising Chief Inspector Chan Man-chung, Station Sergeants Ng Hoi-hung and Wong Chun-fai and Sergeant Chan Ka-chun, visited a training base of the VIP Protection Bureau. They were invited to attend its Provincial Public Security Training Programme 2018 to share their security screening experience in major events. The sharing covered topics such as room search, route search, risk assessment, and venue and security screening.

The visit was fruitful. It enabled both parties to exchange their experience and develop a stronger bonding.
