Commissioner Lo Wai-chung presented letters to 19 officers on August 31, confirming their promotions to Chief Superintendent (CSP), Senior Superintendent (SSP) and Superintendent (SP). Mr Lo also presented CP's Formation/Unit Commendation to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Bureau as well as CP's Commendations to two EOD officers.

Heading the promotion list is Mr Lam Chi-ming, promoted to CSP. Messrs Tsang Fan-kwok, Li Kwai-wah, Tan Wing-cheung, San Tze-kin, as well as Ms Leung Wing-sheung and Ms Foo Yat-ting have been promoted to SSP.

Promoted to SP are Messrs Fung Kin-man, Wong Ka-keung, Tse Kai-kong, Lam Wing-ho, Wong Chung-on, Tsang Fan-hon, Cheng Ka-chun, Chung Kin-yeung, Chan Chiu-hei, as well as Ms Hung Hiu-wai and Ms Kwok Hiu-kwan.

Mr Lam Kai-chor, who was absent from a previous presentation, received a letter confirming his promotion to SP.

In addition, Mr Kwok Ka-chun has been promoted to SP. As he is on secondment overseas, he received his promotion letter from his Commanding Officer at INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon, France.

On the same occasion, Mr Lo presented CP's Formation/Unit Commendation to the EOD in recognition of its courage, professionalism and teamwork displayed in bomb-defusing operations early this year. Mr Lo also presented CP's Commendations to two EOD officers, Station Sergeant Chan Kwong-hung and Sergeant Mak Cho-tak.
