The Hong Kong Police Cycling Club (HKPCC) and Tai Po Balance Bike Club co-organised a summer balance bike course for police children at the Police Sports and Recreation Club between July 19 and August 24. Thirteen children aged between two and five joined the eight-class course.

Apart from cycling techniques and safety, the coaches highlighted the importance of discipline, obedience and respecting other players. The course covered a parent-child session, at which the children and their parents had a great time in the game.

Chairman of HKPCC Mr Chan Chun-fai presented trophies to outstanding participants at the closing ceremony of the course on August 24. He reiterated the importance of cycling safety and hoped that the newly trained kids would help to spread this message.
