The Tai Po District (TPDIST) Basketball Team held a friendly match with a basketball team of the Silver Lining Project, formed by teens and social workers, at Fu Shin Sports Centre in Tai Po on August 28. The match aimed at strengthening the bond of officers and the teens, and fostering sports exchange.

Through an experience sharing by officers before the match, the teens showed an interest in police work. Some of them asked for tips for equipping themselves to join the Force. Officers also promoted positive values among the teens to encourage them to serve the community upon their graduation. The Silver Lining Project was jointly organised by the Police and the ELCHK Integrated Service Centre for Reconciliation to provide support service for teen victims.
