Chief Knowledge Champion speaks at Singapore KM Conference

Deputy Director 2 of Hong Kong Police College Dr Chiu Sau-mee led a Force delegation to attend the Knowledge Management Conference 2018 in Singapore from August 29 to 31. The Knowledge Management Society, Singapore, invited Dr Chiu as a guest speaker of the conference. Dr Chiu, in her capacity as the Force's Chief Knowledge Champion, shared the Force's knowledge management (KM) journey and the critical success factors of KM.

The annual conference served as a platform for KM experts and practitioners around the world to keep abreast of the latest KM strategies and share their best practices in implementing KM. The theme of this year's conference was "KM Transformation".

During their stay in Singapore, the Force delegation also conducted the Fifth Annual KM Dialogue with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to exchange their experience in KM development. They visited the Home Team Academy of the SPF and its newly-established Virtual Reality Simulation Centre to learn more about its police training programme as well as the application of technology in police training.
