The Knowledge Management (KM) team in Marine Policing ran a seminar on Maritime Search and Rescue Operations in the "Beyond Boundaries Learning Series" at the Marine Regional Headquarters on September 21.

The KM team invited Senior Pilot (Operations) Mr Victor Lau, Pilot (Helicopter) Ms Queena Chan and Qualified Crewman Instructor Mr Vincent Tang from the Government Flying Service (GFS) to share their valuable experience and practical ways in conducting maritime search and rescue operations.

Nearly 50 frontline officers attended the seminar. It enabled the officers to better understand the execution of search and rescue operations at sea and enhance their professional knowledge and practical skills. The seminar also strengthened co-operation between the Force and the GFS.
