Traffic Branch Headquarters (TBHQ) and the Transport Department (TD) co-organised a seminar on driving safety of food delivery motorcycles at the Police Headquarters on October 9 with the aim of raising road safety awareness of food delivery motorcyclists. Representatives from the food delivery trade were invited to join the seminar.

Police and TD officers talked about the latest traffic accident statistics, causes of traffic accidents, undesirable driving attitude, ways to avoid traffic accidents, defensive driving, personal protective gear for motorcyclists and other safety matters with a view to spreading road safety messages to the delivery workers.

Following the talk, the participants exchanged their views and work experience. The seminar enhanced communication between the trade and the Force.
