The Police Volleyball Club (PVC) organised the annual University Invitational Tournament at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on September 29 to promote friendship and sports exchange with local universities. Representatives of The University of Hong Kong (HKU), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), the Lingnan University (LU) and the Hong Kong Shue Yan University competed with three Police teams.

Following a series of seesaw matches, Police Team A won the championship of men's group, with the HKU and Police Team B emerging as the first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. For women's group, the championship went to the Police Team, followed by the HKBU and LU.

Vice Chairperson of the PVC Ms Tse Tsui-yan officiated at the prize presentation ceremony and encouraged club members to keep promoting a healthy lifestyle and maintain good relationship within and outside the Force.
