Secretary for the Civil Service (SCS) Mr Joshua Law presented certificates to 100 civil servants with outstanding work performance at the SCS's Commendation Award Presentation Ceremony 2018 on October 23. Eighteen Force members have been commended this year, making the Force the government department with the highest number of awardees.

Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin and Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Siu Chak-yee attended the ceremony to share the joy with the Force awardees. The awardees are Superintendent Poon Wan-chin, Chief Inspector Ng Wing-fai, Station Sergeants Tse Chi-kwan, Leung Kwok-yin, Wong Chi-tat, Lau Wing-hong, Wong Wai-kei, Cheng Muk-kan, Suen Yan-hon, Lam Wai-leung, Tse Long-chung, Lam Chi-wai, Liu Ching-tat, Wong Kin-tat, Lo Chit-hing, Lam Wai-fu and Ng Kin-ip and Senior Radio Mechanic Chik Kwok-chuen.

The SCS's Commendation Award Scheme was introduced in 2004 to honour civil servants who have achieved outstanding performance for at least five consecutive years.
