Director of Marine (D of Marine) Ms Maisie Cheng presented her commendation on November 9 to 30 police officers for their bravery in rescuing people at sea.

Nineteen of the commended officers came from Marine Region. They were Senior Inspector Wong Ching-sze, Station Sergeants Wong Tin-chu and Chan Man-hon, Sergeants (SGTs) Ko Chit, Wan Fu-keung, Wong Chun-hung and Mok Hon-wing, as well as Police Constables (PCs) Tse Tin-yau, Fung Wing-hang, Ng Kwok-kit, Tang Ho-chun, Lee Tung-ming, Tse Kai-yin, Lai Shi-wai, Li Man-ching, Li Hon-cheung, Ko Hon-ching, Ho Fu-wing and Kwok Man-kee.

The other officers were PC Law Ho-kwan of Operations Wing, PCs Wong Fu-ho, Tai Man-san, Lok Sen-fung and Chung Kwok-keung from Hong Kong Island Region, SGT Fung Ka-lok and PCs Tam Kwok-fu, Hui Shing-yu and Li Ngai-yuen from Kowloon East Region, PC Lee Chun-wai from Kowloon West Region, as well as PC Yiu Wing-wan from New Territories South Region.
