The Police Licensing Office (PLO) held an experience sharing session on November 13 about handling street performers. More than 120 frontline officers from different Formations attended the sharing session.

Deputy Commander of Yau Tsim District Ma Wai-hing and Assistant Commander (Operations) of Tsim Sha Tsui Division Chan Wai-wah talked about strategies for and their experience in handling street performers in the vicinity of Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui. The sharing session also covered the licensing conditions of a "Playing Musical Instrument Permit in Public Street or Road" and related court cases.

The participants said the sharing was very informative and has enhanced their professionalism and confidence in handling street performers. The relevant materials will be uploaded onto the PLO's webpage on Police Intranet (POINT).
