New Territories South (NTS) Region and Hong Kong Island (HKI) Region held Regional Sports Day at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 16 and 20 respectively to promote a healthy lifestyle within the Force.

NTS members participated in a variety of exciting sport competitions, including football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, running, indoor rowing, swimming, tug of war and fun games, displaying their athletic talents and sportsmanship. Following keen competition, the overall Major and Minor Formation Championships went to Shatin District and Airport District respectively.

Meanwhile, more than 700 HKI officers competed in 10 sports events, including ball games, running, swimming and tug-of-war. After intense competition, Central District won the champion of Major Formation while HKI Emergency Unit and HKI Crime Unit ranked as the champions of Minor Formation. Regional Commander of HKI Yu Tat-chung encouraged Force members to do more exercises and maintain a healthy lifestyle so as to face the challenges ahead.
