About 60 officers participated in the Knowledge Café, titled "Ride on the Challenge of Digital Payments in Hong Kong", at Police Headquarters on November 22.

Superintendent Lam Cheuk-ho led his teammates from the Intelligence and Support Division of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau to talk about the digital payment platform, stored value facilities and the Faster Payment System in Hong Kong. They also explained the handling of reports involving virtual currencies and digital payment systems, as well as ways to minimise loss incurred to informants.

The participants had a fruitful discussion with the speakers on the challenges of digital payments. The knowledge gained from this café session benefited the participants in their daily work.
