Chairman and members of the Incorporated Owners of Kwong Fook Building presented pennants to Mong Kok District (MKDIST) Commander Bradley Wright and Deputy Commander Mok Hing-wing on December 4 in appreciation of their leadership, as well as officers of MKDIST Police Community Relations Office (PCRO) for promoting harmony in the community.

Following the issue of a court order on the demolition of unauthorised rooftop structures on the building last November, the residents were worried about any confrontation or untoward event that might arise. So the Chairman of the Incorporated Owners sought PCRO's assistance. PCRO officers provided useful information to the Incorporated Owners and assured them that appropriate support would be provided on the demolition day. With close liaison between the police and the community, the demolition works was completed smoothly in late August and the residents live a happy life again.
