The Hong Kong Police Golfing Society (HKPGS) hosted the 23rd Triangular Golf Tournament from November 28 to 30 for delegates from the Singapore Police Force (SPF), the Royal Thai Police (RTP) and the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF).

The tournament was first held in 1992 to promote golf among officers from the three police forces and facilitate exchanges in fighting crime.

The delegations played a warm-up match at Chung Shan Hot Spring Golf Club in Mainland China, followed by two rounds of intensive yet friendly competition at the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course in Sai Kung and the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. The SPF team won the Ray Anning Plate in the match with HKPF golfers while the RTP team retained the Pacific Plate in matches with the other two forces.

A gala presentation dinner was held at the Hong Kong Golf Club after the final match, with Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin and Chairman of the Hong Kong Police Sports Council Mr Cheuk Hau-yip as the officiating guests.

The event enhanced relationship among the three police forces. The SPF will host the tournament next year.
