More than 150 Force players from 13 Major Formations (MFs) took part in the annual Inter-Major Formation Badminton Competition that was jointly organised by the Police Badminton Club and the Sports Unit at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 28. Support Wing won the championship after intense matches with other strong teams in the Force.

The Guest of Honour, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chiu Wai-yin, presented trophies and medals to the winning teams. Marine Region captured the title of the first runner-up while the second to fifth runners-up went to Crime Wing, New Territories North Region, New Territories South Region and Kowloon East Region respectively. The Police College and the Operations Wing took the merit awards.
