Consul-General of Mongolia in Hong Kong Mr Samdan Erdene paid a courtesy call on Commissioner Lo Wai-chung on December 18.

Mr Lo and Mr Samdan Erdene discussed a wide range of issues, including the overall crime trend, strategies for combating cross-boundary crimes as well as direction of collaboration. Both sides recognised the importance of forging a closer partnership with a view to maintaining a stable law and order situation in their respective jurisdictions.

The visit enabled Mr Samdan Erdene to get a better understanding of the Force, and laid a solid foundation for policing co-operation between the two places.
