ACP Support shares policing initiatives

Following the overwhelming response to the first session of "Meet A Commissioner Rank Officer in Lunch Hour" Series, the Police College invited Assistant Commissioner (Support) (ACP Support) Lam Hiu-tong to speak at the second session of the series on December 18.

Ms Lam talked about the policy directions of the Support Wing in 2019, highlighting the application of technology to strengthen partnership with the public as well as the effectiveness of policing. The technological initiatives would include the launching of an e-cell check and alarm system to enhance custody management and detention facilities, as well as the implementation of an e-ticket system to combat illegal parking.

Over 60 participants enjoyed an enlightening lunch hour and increased their understanding of the major projects of the Support Wing.
