The Police College conducted the Leadership Enhancement Programme for 15 Administrative Officers (AOs) at the Aberdeen campus on December 14 and 15.

The AOs took part in team-building exercises and challenging activities to develop their leadership skills and team spirit and strengthen their determination and confidence. They competed with Probationary Inspectors (PIs) in a challenge, and both parties had an informal exchange of views over dinner.

The feedback on the programme was tremendously positive. The participants said the exchange with PIs, in particular, increased their understanding of police work and culture. They expressed their gratitude to the Police College for the inspiring programme. Senior Superintendent of the School of Foundation Training Lee Chung-wah thanked the participants at the certificate presentation ceremony for their participation, and encouraged them to practise what they learned to rise to the challenges in an ever-changing society.

The Police College has been co-organising the annual training programme with the Civil Service Bureau for junior AOs since 2006.
