Regional Commander of New Territories South (NTS) Patrick Laidler presented Police Long Service Medals, Clasps, Long and Meritorious Service Certificates, Commanding Officer's Commendations and retirement souvenirs to 115 police officers and civilian staff members at NTS Regional Headquarters on December 17 for their contribution to the Force.

Among 68 recipients of the Commanding Officer's Commendations, 18 officers from Traffic NTS and Lantau District were commended for their leadership and professionalism in and dedication to the planning, co-ordination and implementation of police work about the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

Mr Laidler praised the Force members for their outstanding performance, and wished the retiring officers a happy retirement.
